About this Organisation

dib is a german-wide non-profit organization with currently 360 individual members and 2 institutional members. dib was founded in 1986 by a group of women engineers and women engineering students who felt a need for representation and lobbying for their needs. dib is dedicated to achieving equal opportunities for women and men in education, employment and family life, challenging existing gender stereotypes and the classical gender specific roles in society. dib also promotes comprehensive concepts for socially and environmentally compatible technology.
